Hello. My name is Stacey. I have been engaged in matters of the spirit, social justice, and ecology for several years. Being a spiritual seeker my whole life, I have connected with the natural world as a guide since a child. I see each person, every animal, oceans, rivers, beaches, forests, wind, the sun, and the moon as sacred.
I am from Seattle, where I grew up appreciating the beauty of orca whales, wild salmon, old-growth cedar trees, and bald eagles.
My spiritual path has led me to living at Buddhist meditation centers and an abbey, which helped me deepen my appreciation in seeing the interconnectedness in everything. This search also has led me to living near Yosemite National Park, on the shore of the Gulf of St. Lawrence in Canada, the Catskill Mountains of NY State, NYC (where I attended seminary focusing on inter-religious engagement and Buddhism), and more recently New Orleans where I served as a chaplain. I now serve as Senior Interim Minister in Albuquerque NM.
I serve as a Board Member of UU Animal Ministry (UUAM). I have represented UUAM giving talks at SUUSI (Southern UU Summer Institute) and the International Convocation of UU Women. I have presented on UU theology at the University of Malta's annual philosophical conference.
I enjoy taking walks with my rescue dog (from Once upon a Tail in Louisiana) Copper.

Available for UU Pulpit Supply in NM, AZ, & CA.
