Hello. My name is Stacey. I have been engaged in matters of the spirit, social justice, and ecology for several years. Being a spiritual seeker my whole life, I have connected with the natural world as a guide since a child. I see each person, every animal, oceans, rivers, beaches, forests, wind, the sun, and the moon as sacred. Our lives are sustained by the eco-system of the world. My spiritual path has led me to living at meditation centers and an abbey, which helped me deepen my appreciation in seeing the interconnectedness in everything. This search has led me to living near Yosemite National Park, on the shore of the Gulf of St. Lawrence in Canada, the Catskill Mountains of NY State, NYC (where I attended seminary), Portland OR (where I did an internship), and more recently New Orleans where I served as a chaplain. I now serve as Lead Minister at UU Society of Oneonta, NY.
I am from Seattle, where I grew up appreciating the beauty of orca whales, wild salmon, old-growth cedar trees, and bald eagles.
I am a Unitarian Universalist (UU) and Buddhist (trained in the Vajrayana tradition). I also have been involved in many environmental issues over the last 20 years. I am an ordained minister within the Unitarian Universalist denomination. I also serve as a Board Member of UU Animal Ministry.
I am available for UU Pulpit Supply, leading meditations, and leading memorials.
Available for UU Pulpit Supply in Southern Regions of US.
